PMOS:68WF2 flight medic. Switching to 15Q air traffic controller. I'm National Guard so I'm already assigned to ATC company. Question I have is for my ASUs, since I have not been awarded the 15Q yet, which RDI/DUI and branch insignia do I wear? More... I know my unit has DUI so I already have those places on shoulders and beret but as a medic I wore the AMEDD RDI above nameplate and medical corps insignia on collar. Now that I'm assigned to ATC company, do I wear aviation branch or not until awarded MOS?

Aviation doesn't have a regimental crest, you chose one to wear based on past assigned units, that's why some of us who have never been outside of aviation don't have one on our ASUs. When you wear your ASUs at graduation, you should have your insignia matching the unit you're currently assigned to (at graduation, the orders have already been cut and you're already assigned to F Co)

LTC (Join to see) - Hey Sir. I would love to fly and that was one of my goals when I first joined unfortunately however, I'm now 30 years old and have a bad knee which I have a Permanet profile for and can't run. I wish I could fly but unfortunately can't apply do to the profile.

BLUF: Wear any RDI you have supporting documentation for.

Regimental Affiliation, A/O 10 APR 15

Regimental Affiliation, A/O 10 APR 15. AR 600-82 (Regimental Affiliation Program) was rescinded and subsequent guidance published within AR 670-1 and DA Pam 670-1 (Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia). The latest guidance from DA Pam 670-1, dated 10 Apr 15, is provided at the following link. Based on this change, requests to affiliate with a unit in order to wear that unit's DUI are no longer required. Soldiers may affiliate with a unit and wear the DUI based on their assignment history. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-55238
