There are very few left on that site, as far as the forums go. I have had the same experience as a couple of others have with regard to telling them of the much better site on RP. They want to come on to share with and support service members with issues and situations that once addressed provides resolution for many. They do not like wading through posts about celebrity gossip etc., they also are concerned that many who share posts do so with a complete disregard for the kind of respect we as service members should all be accustomed to. Often times people rant using abusive language in personal attacks. There is nothing wrong with expressing ones passion and even dropping a four letter word if you believe that helps depict how much something bothers you, it does not allow you or me ti direct the same words at an individual. What’s the difference in us: I believe it’s because we drank the Cool Aid… in a good way. We actually believe in the words Duty, Honor, Country; to a degree that others don’t. I’ve always said we live the dream; that is we enjoy what we do: in work, in our personal lives. We want to learn and help others.

The bottom line is we just like it. It takes time. Time that some don’t see adds any value to their lives. I see that value. I look at myself. Between work, family, taking care of the house, and all the other things in our lives, here I am writing (stealing a few minutes from something else I could be doing) on the computer to keep up with a part of my life that I love.
