My Unit is moving to a new bldg. in another zip code and I heard rumor that if I was commanded to move them I will keep my current BAH rate but this goes against any PCS information that I find. There are a number of post where there are multiple BAH rates within driving distance, any post in the Washington DC area as an example. If you are not moving because of the change of address of the unit, there should be no change in your BAH. If you do move, then you would get the rate in the location of your new residence.
