What regulations are there for repromoted E-6s?

I have the E-7 board coming this September what regulations are there for repromoted E-6s? That has time in grade more than 3 years?

Are you referring to AR 600-8-19, Enlisted Promotions and Reductions?

If your an E6 with enough time in for E7 and you don't know the regulation for promotions and reductions maybe you need to wait a little longer....

Please, what is: "a repromoted E-6"? Were you previously reduced in grade for some malfeasance? Did you voluntarily surrender a pay grade for being caught at some offense not quite NJP level?

I really wish I knew what a repromoted E-6 is. And what is the E7 board? I thought it was the SFC Promotion Board according to MILPER messages. The only regulation that I know for promotions is AR600-8-19 and it never mentions anything about repromoting. The regulation says, as long as you meet the following requirements, you can be considered for promotion.

The following eligibility criteria must be met before the HQDA board convenes.
a. Soldiers must—
(1) Meet announced DOR and BASD (PEBD for USAR) requirements and other eligibility criteria prescribed within
the board announcement message.
(2) Be serving on active duty in an enlisted status on convene date of the selection board.
(3) Have a minimum high school diploma equivalent.
(4) Not be barred from reenlistment under provisions of AR 601–280 or not pending administrative separation under
AR 635–200.
(5) Not be ineligible to reenlist because of DCSS, retirement, or court-martial.
b. NCOES requirements (see para 1–28).
c. Soldiers previously disenrolled from the USASMC for any reason (other than compassionate or medical) are
permanently ineligible for further selection to attend the course and, consequently, promotion to SGM.
