If I understand the regulations correctly, I am entitled to one OSS for each six months of OCONUS service. Since I have ten months, I am only entitled to one. The last part of the regulation confuses me as it says that for twelve month deployments you can count the first and last month. So then that would be twelve and two stripes? In other words, any one who served outside continental usa for more than 6 months can were a service bar.
