What regulaton covers the clarification of the 30, 60, 90 apft tests for all NCOES schooles?

30,60,90? I have never heard of that. I have heard of 30,60's and 60,120s. FM 7-22 covers prt it might be in there.

SGT McBride, that's a III Corps policy, there is no AR that cover the 30,60,90 APFT, but like you should know, your commander (III Corps) could add to,but not take away.

It's the III Corps Schools SOP. Read 350-1 closey. It says IF only 2 APFTs are given they..... A commander can make you do an APFT monthly is they desire. There is nothing illegal, immoral or unethical.

SGT McBride, as SFC Martin stated, that requirement is found in the III Corps Schools SOP. As a former 1SG at Fort Hood, I believe it was established as a result of too many NCOs going to NCOES courses and failing the APFT. It may seem extreme but I believe it is meant to take care of NCOs so that they do not fail out of an NCOES course, or other course such as Drill Sergeant. Gone are the days of the marginal 1059 for failing the APFT or height/weight.

There isn't one, that is the BN CSM's choice to have that. After all if a Soldier from that command goes to NCOES and fails it makes the Command that sent him look bad.

It is not in a regulation, its local policy set in place at many units to mitigate the real issues of marginal SM scoring marginally under dubious testing conditions and then FAILING miserable at school.
Having briefed the SMA several times and other senior service chief level staff on how its possible for an SM to leave the unit scoring 275, 280, 290, 300 and then score a 130 at the school house not only wasting resources to get them there, but no failing overall to achieve the mission of DS graduations needed to sustain the force, or NCOES schools sending home droves of NCO that cant pass an APFT by a large margin.
Add to that the marginal ones that pass with a minimum score, after several attempts then go to school and fail..
Units create things like, ramp up to TDY date APFTS, 30, 60, 90 days out ..or DIV observed or ran APFT for school qualifications. I much preferred the CG>CSM combo we had at one time that simple told the unit senior leaders, train your folks, and run your units as if your job depends on it, because it does. If you cant be trusted to give a fair and accurate APFT to standard holding the SM personally accountable for their fitness level, perhaps company, Battalion, Brigade command is not right for you.

While we had fewer eligible to go to school for several quarters after that, we had ZERO achieve high scores at home station and significant failures at school. Senior leaders were being held accountable for the shoddy supervision and training at the company and platoon level. APFT's became less of a finger drill and back to being earned.
