I’m prior 11B and re-enlisted as a 35L. How will it be for PS guys? Will I have separate barracks? Any info will be great, especially if you’ve been to Ft Huachuca

I don’t have this specific answer, but I did find a related Ft Huachuca thread. Maybe it helps in some way!

I love the sunrises and seeing the deer and javalina out and about in the evening and morning time. I also like being able to see the stars at night.
Currently assigned here and reclassed from 12B here back in 2012. I was a SPC then and married. Brought my family with me as I was headed to Korea directly after graduating. We collected BAH and lived off post. Pretty easy for the prior service people. Basically just show up to formations, PT with everybody else, and head to class, then go home. I do not remember a single MOS-T residing in the barracks with the A.I.T students. You will probably be in Riley Barracks, which is old and nasty. Sorry. Unless you pay out of pocket and/or shack up with some fellow students, you will probably be living in Riley Barracks. I'm not a 35L but something else, so not 100 percent sure how 35L's day to day life was when here reclassing.
I've only stayed overnight en route to a new PDS but Ft. Huachuca is small and distanced from civilization. It is also hot during the Summer months. Other than that, it'll offer everything you need to thrive during your reclass. You'll likely be separated from the IET formations though. Regardless, congrats!
