What's everybody's opinion about Earnhardt Jr. sitting out for 3 races so far and Gordon running his car at Indy?

This puts him at a disadvantage for making the chase. He is the loudest voice for concussion safety in the garage, thus it's probably the best move. I'm a Jr fan so him not being on the track sucks, but his safety and those around him matters more. He wasn't going to far into the chase anyway unfortunately even if he stayed on track and made it.

Sgt Arnold I never was a fan of his dads. I always followed Dale Jarrett when he was running. My dad was a big Sr fan so needless to say we had a very loud house during NASCAR season. Then DJ retired and I kind of didn't have anybody to pull for, so Jr just kind of became my driver because I didn't like many of the others racing.
What I don't like and this is just me, is Gordon in his car. esp. after what he said about Jr this week. Have you heard about that?

Sometimes I think Jr. can get a little lazy. He's making millions a yr. and sometimes I wonder if his heart is really in it anymore. I'm not doubting he has symptoms. And I really think his dad's death has never really left him and he doesn't want to end up the same as him.
I've seen all those political questions lately I figured something lighter so to speak would be good.

This surely beats that political nonsense! I'm not sure if it's lazy or just, well hell who knows. I was a Sr fan, and Tony Stewart. The old timers are gone!

SGT (Join to see) - It certainly does. I like Tony as well. Once he leaves after this yr. that'll be it for the older guys at least the ones I've followed anyway.
