Well i have limited knowledge about Acquisition in the Reserves as most of my Acquisition time was active duty or as a mobilized reservist.

It 100% translates to civilian employment.

There are 2 sides to Acquisition, Program Management/Systems Development (51A) and Contracting (51C). Both have their good and bad points. 51A works on product teams to develop, manage, test, produce, and field new systems to the Army to fill requirements. 51C turns funding into contract solutions to army requirements. I have done both.

Feel free to message me with specific questions.LTC Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 01 Jun 2020 15:41:42 -04002020-06-01T15:41:42-04:002020-06-01T14:52:19-04:00
