Besides using weapons for a different kind of herd management? You forgot the high tower dive because everyone must jump off the deck of a carrier sometime during their career. Folding dress clothes inside out. Lighting that OBA candle off. And anything associated with the term "Angle on the Bow". Much more out there....

Surprisingly enough, a lot of this training is taught to the Army boat community, especially the LSV and LCU crews.

standard water survival tech taught and required in the army training guidance,, CWST Combat Water Survival Training...though Id bet we looked mighty silly floundering in a pool flopping our trousers over our head with no real technique ....
Other then equipment related stuff, im not coming up with anything Army wide.. I mean... did the navy teach you how to use a wag bag?

Culture. The Marine Corps make Marines. They instill esprit de Corps. The traditions, history and exploits are taught again and again. The first job of basic training or OCS is to make Marines that think like Marines, act like Marines and have a common outlook on being a Marine. Not just for your tour but for life.

How to escape from a downed submarine. I use that one with regularity. Your synthetic material is bad news for fire situations and floatation now days. They are porous and melt.

Um...I learned all that in my senior Red Cross swimming course. It was standard, along with full-dress entry from the high diving board. There's nothing like trying to get laced shoes off at the bottom of a diving pool.

military decision making process MDMP. The Marines have a slightly different process (one less step). the Navy didn't have one until 2006 (OPP), to my knowledge the USAF still doesn't.

Even today, 9JAN2017, as I needed one hand to open a door, I placed one of three items between my knees to free a hand and allow me to open the door.

Let us not forget; Tom Sawyer, wearing a dress, while visiting Aunt (?) Becky was covertly discovered by Aunt Becky when she tossed an object into his lap. Tom rather than spreading his knees to use the skirt of the dress to catch the item as a girl would, put his knees together as a boy would to catch something thrown into his lap.
