I was listening to a friend tell me a story about his son making a decision early on in his life. His son was 12 years old, in 6th grade, and loved football but....decided he wanted to play basketball that year. At the end of the season he told his dad he didn't want to play basketball anymore because it was getting in the way of his training for football. 12 years old....6th grade. His idol is Barry Sanders and he was convinced that he was going to break NCAA records and get into the NFL to be compared to the likes of Barry Sanders. He focused on football and worked hard, earned a scholarship to Notre Dame, and is a starting running back in 2014, his senior year (Cam McDaniels). 12 years old...6th grade...and he had a vision that he was crystal clear on.

So what's the basketball in your life? What's getting in the way of you accomplishing your goals and living your dreams?

Pain was my roadblock. Now that my surgeries are over, I am physically able to work....I still need to land a job.
