What’s the best Job in the Army? What’s the prior-service process like?

Go to flight school! Almost every Marine I know that came over, did so for flight training and truly they are fantastic squared away pilots. Did you transfer enlisted?

Every job in the Army is the best job in the Army for a specific person, or personality type! So in order to answer that Question we will need to know what you want to do. Because you can literally be anything you want to be in the area of your choosing.

There are way too many jobs in the Army for anybody to be able to give you a non-bias answer. It'll all come down to what we did and if we enjoyed it or not. I was an Infantryman and I wouldn't have wanted to do anything else, but there are plenty of people who would hate it.

Process is not too bad. I just completed everything coming over from the marine corps myself. Took about a month.

In my completely biased opinion, 12B is the best! From the prior service Marines I’ve served with, the process is easy. If you do become and engineer try to get Sapper school and Urban Breaching school!

IMO being a CWO3 helicopter pilot looked pretty darn good. Fly a lot. Some measure of autonomy in exercising authority. Enough experience to be comfortable in the cockpit but smart enough to avoid problems.
