<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The obvious answer is to get type rated in an airframe they have, so 47s or 60s for your first job.<br />Then you need a few outstanding OERs that demonstrate that you are quantitatively doing it all better than your peers and get at least 500 hours flying, or at least 50 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), then you volunteer.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Honestly, be sure you let the 160th know that you&#39;re interested.<br /><br />I&#39;m not sure what the current situation is but they have, in the past, recruited pretty rigorously. This includes Guard and Reserve Aviators.
