I knew people were going to be upset by the results regardless of who they favored but I can't get over the overall reaction of things. People are going crazy. I've seen people end life long friendships over who voted for who and other craziness. Riots and protests are to be expected, people get mad when they don't get their way, but to say he doesn't "qualify" as President is just insane. Under the Constitution he does qualify and the votes were verified. I think people on both sides are looking at things with blinders on and need to stop and take a look around to see the full picture and realize that things aren't falling apart, the four horsemen have not been spotted coming down from Heaven. The world is spinning and things are okay. Now, we can't just say he's going to mess things up without seeing what he does once he is in the chair. I think the reality of the position is sinking in on him.Response by SGT Ben Keen made Nov 17 at 2016 10:17 AM2016-11-17T10:17:49-05:002016-11-17T10:17:49-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member2083331<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Lots of uncertainty being expressed by people within the USA and those outside to include our friends and allies.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 17 at 2016 10:18 AM2016-11-17T10:18:08-05:002016-11-17T10:18:08-05:00SGM Mikel Dawson2083378<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>He's rolled up his sleeves and settled into the task at hand of forming his staff. When President Obama was first elected, I had misgivings. I could see no discernible qualifications in the man to be President. Still, I wished him well. I prayed for him as I had prayed for the success of every President, Republican and Democrat, since Harry Truman. Wishing ill on the President is like cursing the pilot of the airplane in which you're a passenger. At least, I expected, his election would put a punctuation mark at the end of the era of racial inequality and unrest. Sadly, he exacerbated every incident by jumping into each racial fray injudiciously and stirring the pot. Why? I have no clue. Still, at least I gave him a chance. I didn't criticize until he began denigrating the Constitution in word and deed. I wish that Americans would now give President-Elect Trump a chance. Sadly, I foresee no "honeymoon" for our new President. Even the GOP members of Congress are closing ranks against him. Hopefully We the People will realize that in doing this, Congress is closing ranks against us and vote them out in the next mid-term elections. We won a great victory, not for Trump, but against the Progressive Movement and we will win the war with other victories in the next mid-term election.Response by CPT Jack Durish made Nov 17 at 2016 10:56 AM2016-11-17T10:56:38-05:002016-11-17T10:56:38-05:00Col Joseph Lenertz2083496<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Trump himself has dialed way back on the vitriol and is putting together an experienced team. I'm going to take another turn at bat. I misread the question and responded inappropriately. The question is "What's the biggest change you have noticed with TRUMP since [the] election?" Donald is becoming a politician, more reserved and circumspect in his language. I'm not surprised. He has always evinced a great ability to learn. Donald became a billionaire by learning from his mistakes and transforming himself into a brand that attracted investors. Regardless of whether he succeeded or failed in any one project, his brand was never tarnished and he continued to succeed. When he became an entertainment personality, he learned from his mistakes and developed an entertaining persona, one that people liked to watch. Now we see the same thing happening. He blew away his competition in the primaries by giving voice to the anger of the people while his opponents played politics as usual. Then, in the general election we saw his demeanor morph into something a little more circumspect. His acceptance of the victory was positively Presidential. The Donald we first saw at the beginning of the primary season would have been whooping and bragging about the win. This Donald thanked his family and staff humbly and was gracious to the opposition. Anyone not surprised by that? His demeanor on meeting the President at the White House was far more Presidential than President Obama. Were you surprised? I was. Then again, I wasn't. I expected this change based on past experience. I guess I was just surprised by the swiftness and degree of change.Response by CPT Jack Durish made Nov 17 at 2016 11:20 AM2016-11-17T11:20:43-05:002016-11-17T11:20:43-05:00PO1 Gery Bastiani2083808<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The crying and sore losers complaining about the candidate losing, we'll suck it up butter cup.
