While nothing really fancy, I got to experience m first live NFL game in Philadelphia, when my beloved Packers came to play them. My employer had a skybox which made it nicer. My Packers lost, but it was memorable, nonetheless.

Sir, I've had the pleasure of being at the Indianapolis 500 in 1994 and the Kentucky Derby in 1995 and 1996. Took advantage of the Army assigning me at Fort Knox at the time.

It's debatable whether or not one would consider it a sporting event but I have attended two Wrestlemanias. III in Pontiac, MI, where my boyhood hero Hulk Hogan body slammed and pinned Andre the Giant, and XVIII in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan "passed the torch" and lost to "The Rock."

A San Francisco elected official had complimentary tickets and invited me to XIX. He sold the two good "seats" to a travel agency for half value. So I turned down sitting on a bench behind the end zone. Look where they are going to be on February 7, 2016. The 1980s make me sick. I'm glad there isn't a group for that.
