From childhood to becoming an adult, I have always enjoyed helping others. Although I had three different career fields, I found that becoming a first sergeant was my passion, primarily because I soon realized that job was all about people. Helping people develop road maps to what they identified as success: whether achieving the next rank, building professional relationships, finishing school, changing thier attitude or even helping them through difficulties. As a first sergeant, my job was very fulfilling because I got to see first hand how "Shirts" lead people while helping them grow and accomplish their dreams! It was never about position, just people.Response by SMSgt LaWanna Viers made Jun 29 at 2015 10:20 AM2015-06-29T10:20:13-04:002015-06-29T10:20:13-04:00SFC William Swartz Jr777872<div class="images-v2-count-1"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-49183"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image">

I'd have to say Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team. I came into the Corps with that Secondary MOS and it was the best unit I have been in. really because they build an entire platoon out of new joins (except for a few holdovers to make up leaders and teachers). This makes for a very close group because there is no "old Corps" marines to put you down and you all learn the same things at the same time. the training was amazing (everything from Basic Security Guard School to Advanced Urban Combat School and Non-lethal Combat) it was the best mix of infantry skills and high speed - low drag skills to make it really fun and interesting.Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 30 at 2015 2:34 PM2015-06-30T14:34:07-04:002015-06-30T14:34:07-04:00SFC Stephen King781015<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Every job is cool it's a matter of how you feel about yours.
