You are the executive who oversees the individual or project. Additionally you can be responsible if the individual guest does not obey the rules or laws of the nation.
Coach: Sports or individual. Lean Six Sigma leaders coach new continuous improvement and other professionals. Coaches help kids and adults during individual or team competitions. They coach the team through the game or process.
Mentor: Anyone can have one, but typically it's someone each of us look up to and communicate with. So if you are running for political office you mind find a mentor in someone who has won an election. If you are a new Lean Six Sigma professional you might have a Master Black Belt who mentors you. Typically, the Mentor has walked the walk and you want to learn or follow in their footsteps. A sponsor is a transitory role focused on guiding an individual as they enter an organization or new role. The sponsor's primary function is to assist in networking in a new unit and new role. These roles tend not to be the same person but they can be.
