MEDICS: RevMedx XStats Being Deployed To Stop High Flow Arterial Bleeding On The Battlefield |...
I found this news very promising. I have absolutely nothing to do with this company. RevMedx XStats are being deployed to US Military Medics to stop high-flow arterial bleeding from non-compressible gunshot and shrapnel wounds on the battlefield. http://www.cnn.com/2014/06/02/tech/innovation/xstat-wound-treatment/index.html?hpt=hp_t3 http://www.revmedx.com/#!xstat-dressing/c2500

I've heard there has been some great work done by our medics in the last 10-12 years, including better clotting agents as well as better tourniquet recovery. Certainly an upside to being at war.
