Fort story VA didn't do hardly any training for 88H. JBLM last duty station for 88H didn't do hardly any training. Find a duty station that trains in your field. The classes itself are super easy. They will make you do real dumb things like sing songs 4 times a day. Only cool thing from 88H AIT is the civilians, they are laid back and are just as fed up with the BS as you are. I slept through the classes and still passed with 100's at graduation. Most likely you'll be in permanent party barracks (trust me its better, you...will...see). They run as if its airborne school so get ready for that.

Day to day: in the reserves you will forget everything that has to do with being an 88H...nothing more. Active duty it depends on your duty station and key note only Fort Campbell and rarely Fort Hood deploys you to places overseas or the border. Everywhere else you will never do your job outside of the gates much less the country. Goodluck! Just take life a day at a time, you may spend too much time in garrison, then again, you may find yourself being shot at too much, those are the chances we take being soldiers.
