After sitting in the lobby for a few minutes I decided that I wanted a shake and went to order a shake. The guy working the register was so amused that he just handed it to me and said that it was on him. They received so much backlash they changed their badly made decision & started showing RESPECT to those DEDICATED employees who had earned it. He blew his top again and said, Go to HR and tell them you quit!"<br />I turned and said "Ok, I Quit", and started walking to the parking lot. He then asked, Where are you going?, I said I'm going to HR to quit".<br />He then said, "Wait, Let's talk about this," I kept walking to my truck knowing, that I was the only one certified as a High Pressure Vessel welder at the power plant.<br />I arrived at HR, the girl asked me what was I doing there, I told her I quit, she asked why, and I told her, that my foreman told me to go to HR and quit. Lol<br />I was asked to see the director, she asked the same question, and I told her the same thing.<br />One week later, I was hired by the Department of Education, to take care to over see, a After school learning center, at one of the elementary schools.<br /><br />That AH, retired marine foreman did me a favor, sitting in a air-condition office, getting more pay.
