We have them in our shadow boxes. However what's the oldest Stars and Stripes you own? I'll lag one out there with a representative picture of a 48 Star wool flag my Dad had. I remember him flying it as a kid so it was before 1959. I have no idea when or where he got it. It would have been made after Arizona came in in 1912. Mine is in good shape as it hasn't been outdoors for 50+ years.<br /><br />I do have my Dad's burial flag as well. They are cotton, not meant to fly, and are longer than standard to properly wrap around a coffin. It's the standard VA issue variety. Obviously it isn't old but means a lot.
