Has anyone recently PCSed to Korea with dogs? What’s the process of taking your dogs with you? What is the cost? How did you do it? Me and my family (hopefully) are PCSing to Korea in May, and we have two dogs, (corgi&aussie) and are wondering how we can take them with us, or if it’s even allowed. How did you take your pets to Korea?

SSG (Join to see) you need to prep your dogs for over seas movement at the vet, you need their shots and exam a certain number of days from transit so they don’t get quarantined for 6 months.
You need to fly commercial unless the rotator can take pets. You arrange it with SATO and the airline. They might be small enough for cabin travel. Otherwise they go in the hold in a carrier. You pick them up on the other side usually at the worst and most remote terminal. Ask at your levy brief

I highly recommend you go to your transportation office to start the process now. There will also have to be cleared by a Vet. The sooner you start the process the less headache you’ll have. Also keep in mind there will probably be cost as well. Good luck to you...
