What's the requirement for a Soldier who failed an APFT before attending an NCOES (e.g. SLC), not while attending, to be re-enrolled?

Unless it has changed the regs typically state that one must not be sent to an NCOES with out a passing APFT.

Almost every school requires a valid passing AFPT (90-180 days) before reporting and most give you a diagnostic when you get there. Fail any of this and you 1. DON't get sent to school. 2. Get sent home to explain to the command. Once you make the standards, then branch will have to find a slot for them later.

It is clear. 600-9 and APFT must be green to go to NCOES. If not, disenroll and let an alternate take the slot. Don't send a soldier to the schoolhouse only to get sent home and have to get the GO involved.

It requires a DA 4187 signed by the first GO in the CoC. Is all in the HRC website.

In order to cancel a NCOES school date, the chain of command has to contact HRC and justify it. Not being able to pass an APFT is a good justification. HRC will cancel the school date but your name will probably pop up the next fiscal year. Use the time while you are waiting to get prepared.
