If the E-6 club was prior to 2003, was it near the O Club and the point? If so, it was a coffee house and internet cafe when I was there.

That is the place, just a short stroll down the beach from the O-Club. If I believe the Scuttlebut, One to Many Wild Parties by the E-6s at the Hash House and the Base Commander shut it down. Yeah we weren't exactly Kosher a lot of the time.

Sobriety was not a priority. My unit had a lot of "down" time. Came home with a suitcase full of t-shirts. I am grateful that my E-9 was my conscience, she kept telling me to "pace myself"!

My favorite memory is watching PR3 Lord beat to death a 9 foot lemon shark he pulled up onto the beach by the Short Pier, with a lead filled pipe! It was awesome!
