It could be something profound, catchy, interesting/ thought provoking, or just plain entertaining or funny. This isn't a GREAT movie line, nor might it have ACTUALLY been said, but it certainly illustrated the mentality of the guys in an intense firefight and impossible situation...

In Lone Survivor, after they jump off the cliff for the first time, Matt Axleson (the character) says in a high pitched, confused voice "that SUCKED!". Naturally, it sucked. Even better, I could actually imagine some hard chargers simply muttering that as they face impending doom.

I see several quotes from "Full Metal Jacket" but the best line in the movie was the scene where "Pyle" killed the Drill and himself...When Drill ran into the "latrine" as we called it in the Army, he used the proper Marine term "head"...the quote as follows....."What the hell is going on in my head!"...maybe my morbid sense of humor but thinking back to basic, nobody knew what was going on in the Drill's head...

In TROPIC THUNDER, the little warlord asks a disguised rice farmer Robert Downy Jr where is your farm?
He pulls 2 M16s up from under a dress thing and begins shooting all around at everyone.
When everyone is down, he yells "IM A LEAD FARMER MOTHER F×@#ER".

Tropic Thunder, "IM A LEAD FARMER MOTHER F%&KER!" asian kid asks robert downy jr where is his farm, he sits in kimono like with rice hat on. Suddenly he open fires all around him, explosions, then pan in to him cross the weapons in front and he says line.
Funniest part is i believe 1 person dies in whole movie! Director first scene.
Actors get put into vietnam to make a movie.
They only have blanks and wired explosive charges & smoke bombs.
Downy quickly realizes its for real, but Stiller believes its all a movie prop.

HILARIOUS MOVIE!!!
