I remember my departed friends. I also remember that people in uniform have served this country because they love it. After 35 years, I remember many of my fellow soldiers who gave up their lives, their homes and families to serve their country. The sacrifice that our families made to have us absent is also very significant and not well appreciated. This morning the service closed with the singing of "America" and there were few dry eyes in the congregation. The words are something that are to be reflected upon.<br />To all those who have served, God bless you.
