I enlisted in Air National Guard in January with an MOS I am not fond of but they made it seem like I did pretty bad on my asvab an the job I got was all I could get so I took it with hopes to cross train. I recently made a friendly conversation with an active duty recruiter who told me I could possibly get the job I wanted to begin with, being active. The active duty recruiter really got me thinking about how hard about how hard it's going to be balancing guard and civilian life an the fact that I'm already experiencing work issues and I haven't even left for BMT. So I thought about the fact that I already got excited about all the MOS's I could get with active that weren't possible with guard and decided to discuss switching. The active duty recruiter told me I could bc I haven't been to BMT I jus needed to make my recruiter aware. So I did what I was told an now my guard recruiter will not answer my texts, emails or calls. What should I do?

If you live in a large enough area you will be able to find more than one recruiter in that command to talk with or maybe you need to venture out a little to find another recruiter office. If you are absolutely you are being stonewalled then maybe look into your recruiter's chain of command.
