What should I expect during recruiting duty? How can I prepare?

I recently got DA Selected for Recruiter Duty. Not the path I wanted to take at this point in my career, but I want to make the best of it. I hear there's a lot of changes....any current or recent Recruiters out there that can fill me in on what to expect? Anything is appreciated.

You will have to be self starter, find out what the successful recruiters do! Always be looking for talent. As an recruiter, you are never off duty in this regard! Keep yourself in good physical shape! Your entire day should be mapped out! For starters to prospect for talent, where young people go, meetings with applicants and their families, time to get referrals, appointments to follow up with applicants. If you can your day should built in time segments, so have ample time to find, process follow up, ad get them to MEPS for processing!Success in Recruiting is about developing habits and behaviors for success!
