Some regulations to get familiar with ar AR 27-10 (Military Justice); AR 635-200 (Enlisted Admin Separations); AR 25-50 (Managing Correspondence); AR 27-55 (Notarial Service). If anything, just go to your Brigade Legal Office and make nice and ask one of the paralegals questions you may have. Im not tracking of any certain type of registry test though... the only test we had to take was normal exams in class and a typing test. As a 27D you will end up at Fort Lee. More specifically, Juliet Company of the 262nd Quartermaster Battalion. Don’t worry about weekend passes because you won’t be getting any. When I attended 27D AIT, each platoon recieved on-post passes on the weekends, beggining on week 6 or 7. Also one off-post pass is granted on your final weekend, unless you are on holdover status, in which case, you can go on off-post pass every weekend until you PCS. You do not become a certified paralegal and that option won’t be available to you unless you have related college or work experience under your belt. There isn’t much I can tell you to study for what’s about to come. The best you can do is familiarize yourself with the standard Army regulations. Do some research on the JAG branch and learn the JAG chain of command. Be prepared to study hard. 27D AIT is extremely study-oriented and if you blow off your in class work/study time to play on your computer, you will likely fail. The experience is very rewarding. Best of luck! PFC Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 10 Feb 2020 23:51:23 -0500 2020-02-10T23:51:23-05:00 2020-01-28T17:28:00-05:00
