What should the RallyPoint app look like?

If you were to develop an app for Rally Point, what would it look, feel, and sound like? What benefits would you like incorporated into it? I prefer to keep my data usage low while on a cell network but go all out when on WiFi. Maybe one feature of the RP app would be to automatically flip to a "lite" version that doesn't download photos or images, and instead only shows text; however, seeing as we all have smart phones, the app would recognize when you're on a wifi network and would then provide full downloads of photos and images.

User Friendly kind of like linkedIn or Facebook. Easy to use not complex. I like the text idea. But I never had any issues with data useage but that is a smart idea to lower the data on the app to be data friendly to those counting the usage per month.

Maybe even a widget that provides live discussion threads.

Make it compatible with a windows phone, not just android and ios.

Then I would say have the main focus be the discussion forum (similar to the newsfeed of facebook). Then if on wifi, download profile pics with discussions, otherwise just text. Also give the notifications of possibly people your connected with when they post to a topic or even start a new topic (similar to the email notifications)

There is a RallyPoint app for the iPad. Frankly, it needs a lot of work.

As I posted earlier, it just needs to be modernized. There needs to be a separate one for the iPad and for phones. The current version is not on par with the rest of the RallyPoint product. I should be able to receive notifications and then post from the mobile device.

I'd almost think it'd be better to remove the existing one from the app store until it is improved. It's really that bad.

Uhmm...Don't forget us Blackberry users....lol Just kidding, as long as I can get it on my Tablet it will be fine.
