I have decided to take the leap to the ''dark side'' and apply for 350F All Source Intel Technician. I have just arrived at my unit here at Hood however, I am 38 years old with 13 years TIS and am eager to get the ball rolling. I haven't spoken to any of the 350F's in my unit yet since I'm so new but want to know what subjects I will truly need to be proficient in within my mos in order to start really studying on those topics and show a mentor that I have the knowledge to become a SME. Basically, what is it that I truly need to be really smart on before even applying vs what will I mainly learn fresh at the course? Ya'll know what I mean. Thank you and God bless.

I asked this same question to a 350F when I was considering that path... His answer was "For a 350F I would say right now the biggest thing to focus on is knowing the IPB/IPoE process well and learning as much about DCGS-A as possible... If you can manage to get into the DISMG course that would help but if wherever you are has a Foundry site try to at least get ASPC I&II"
Hope this helps some

Being successful in WOBC is not really something to worry about too much. Worry about your packet first. Make sure that all your NCOERs, ERB, and LORs are good to go. If you get selected focus first on WOCS get it over with and then start worrying about WOBC. WOBC is really not difficult as long as you pay attention in the classes and put effort into the assignments. The class has changed a ton in just the 5 years since I went through it and likely will change before you go.
