What things have you discovered about yourself while being in the military?

That list would go on forever. But the biggest thing I keep learning is I'm capable of far more than I think I am. I've been tossed in many tossed into many unknowns and came out on top. Just got to take a deep breath and go for it!

I learned that I am not cut out to be a civilian. I am happier with my uniform on without showering for weeks and sleeping in a tree, covered in bug bites than I will ever be performing my duties at a civilian job. I like the military lifestyle, the brotherhood and friendship there in, and wish that I could do it all the time. I hate having to be an ass kissing salary man in "the real world" when I know the military is far more important than many of the tasks I have completed on this side of the fence.

The military is my home and my family and where I belong. Thats what I learned.

I learned that I was way tougher than I thought. And also that the military was the PERFECT place for my sense of humor.
