<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The Army has different packets for condition release, if you&#39;re new to your contract vs. Several years into one but it doesn&#39;t stop you from applying.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As far as a time period, I cannot be 100% sure. I’m sure the more time you have at your current station the better. It does help to write a letter explaining why you wish to be released when you submit your request. I went ARNG to active duty, however I wrote a letter of hardship explaining why joining active duty would help me, and I believe that’s what helped me out the most.
