I can think of no better way to say good bye than have the last memory be a happy one. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 22 Dec 2015 15:01:32 -0500 2015-12-22T15:01:32-05:00 Response by LTC Bink Romanick made Dec 22 at 2015 4:11 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-to-do-when-saying-goodbye?n=1192018&urlhash=1192018

MAJ Ken Landgren I never say good bye, it has a ring of finality LTC Bink Romanick Tue, 22 Dec 2015 16:11:39 -0500 2015-12-22T16:11:39-05:00 Response by CPT John M. I was holding her in my arms and when she let go of that last breath, I kissed her on the forehead and said "Goodbye mom, I love you!" I didn't cry and all I thought was that God gave me a gift, a miracle if you will, because my mom was holding me when I came into this world and I was holding her when she left.
