What to put on an AMEDD CV (resume)?

My wife is preparing her CV to apply for 72D through AMEDD recruiting, her recruiter is not the best at maintaining contact but luckily she has me to push (too much usually) to get her packet done. Is it worth mentioning non medical work experiences on the CV to show leadership or do they just want the medical stuff? Thanks.

I recommend adding anything that add values along both her scientific expertise and her leadership experience. Both are appealing, but to different important aspects of a candidate's credentials to be a military officer.

SFC Carroll, send me a private message with an email address. I was selected in 2018. I can send you the resume I used. The resume format was provided by my recruiter, but the content was written by me. It’ll at least give you an example that successfully passed the selection board.

Also, it’s certainly worth mentioning non-medical work, especially managerial positions or titles that oversaw people or programs. It’ll communicate her potential to lead others, operate independently, hold responsibility/accountability, etc.

All “meaningful” leadership experience should be included (medical or non-medical).

While medical experiences are certainly important, mentioning non-medical work experiences that highlight leadership skills can add depth to her CV.
