What type of discharge am I likely to get if I am getting chaptered out over 180 days for IET? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-type-of-discharge-am-i-likely-to-get-if-i-am-getting-chaptered-out-over-180-days-for-iet <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am already a one time reclass from 15Q (Air Traffic Controller) and I just recently wasn’t able to make it through Combat Medic training. I am obviously over my 180 day period, and I am wishing to know what will happen to me. I have full intentions to Re enlist into the military down the road, but I am not clear on the terms of such. It&#39;s not bad or good. That all depends on what they put as your RE code and the alpha numeric designator. You need to get with your command and retention as to what your options are at this point. SSG Brian G. There is a waiver for the 24 months, but it is typically granted to those individuals who have waited a good amount of time already.
