It can be honorable or general under honorable conditions. Often this is determined when the Soldier's overall performance is considered.

This info should be part of any counseling done after APFT record fail, and is also readily found with a simple internet search. Try Chapter 13, or APFT failure discharge as key words

Your answer should be in your counseling for the APFT failure. AR635-200 Enlisted Separations
