He was shipped out on 08/13/2018, and has been in basic training. However he was injured during the basic training with stress fractures on his hips and knees. Because of this injury, he couldn&#39;t run (let alone run fast) to pass his PT test. He is very worried for being kicked out of the army, and if so what type of discharge would he get? <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Is the initial date you posted of 6-15-2016 correct or did you mean 6-15-2018? Also, if he does get chaptered out of the military while at Basic, the type of discharge will be up to the Commander&#39;s recommendation. But, this is putting the cart before the horse. They will probably try and rehab him first.
