Were all adults right? Well some are, in any event. What was the best/worst advice you were given as a child, and what if any did you learn from it? Shall we begin?

I was given lot's of good advice. Hard to pinpoint just one thing as being the best, and as fate would have it, some of the advice that even 10 years ago I would still argue was stupid, would now be in the category of some of the best! We grow and learn over time, and what we come to find out later on is that our parents were not as dumb as we once thought!!

SFC A.M. Drake again it is just hard to pin down one thing as "the best", my parents were hard and very strict and were always giving advice one way or the other. If I had to pick one I guess it would be "if it's worth dong, it's worth doing right the first time". My father had little patience for things being done poorly.
