SGT Private RallyPoint Member 7547012 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> What was your best duty station as a 12N and why? 2022-02-27T15:39:48-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 7547012 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> What was your best duty station as a 12N and why? 2022-02-27T15:39:48-05:00 2022-02-27T15:39:48-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 7548954 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Having only been in two duty stations Fort Lewis, WA &amp; Fort Stewart, GA I’ll share my experience. <br /><br />Fort Lewis: Beautiful place to live specially if you like the outdoors but really close to the city, on the 12N side of the house I got my fair share of stick time NTC rotation, YTC rotations, FTXs, so if you have a family for me was a down but enjoyed it and got a lot of experience. <br /> <br />Fort Stewart, GA: Is not a bad place but everything is far away and close at the same time, you got Jacksonville, Fl within 2 hours, Charleston, SC within a little over 2 hours. But Hinesville is a small town, with only one Walmart, one lowes so a lot of driving. On the 12N side of the house the uptempo is not so crazy out here even though is a deployable unit *unlike Fort Lewis ( is not deployable) so I get to expend a lot of time with the family. Cost of living out here is way cheaper than in Washington so that’s an extra, if you have any questions let me know.
