Basic was good because you really didn't have to worry about where to be and when since the DS's took care of travel arrangements. But woe to you if you screw the pooch. AIT was great because you had more freedoms (depending on the MOS), but the negatives were usually a short amount of time to see all that the base and town had to offer (and let us not forget those wonderful AIT relationships that ended with marriage). Permanent Party was great since you all done with seeing Round Browns and you can be assigned to some great places. The bad side is that you could have been assigned to some really bad places. Finally being treated like a human was a welcome relief from the leveling-out process of Basic. Permanent Party is a very close second though. AIT was okay and permanent party well I have some not nice words about that. I was attached to the Barracks Crew which was a Scam. I loved it. Little to No Adult Supervision.
