What was your most fun TDY Assignment?

Mine was Frankfurt's Rhein Mein AB in Germany.   I was not in Weather fun but I loved the culture and relaxed nature of the job.

Mine was a recent last minute TDY to Alaska. I was there for ten days and got to work a few in downtown Anchorage. What a blast it was. If you ever go there, try the reindeer sausage.

I spent 3-weeks TDY to Orlando in 2009 putting a new tank simulator through its paces for the companies 100-hour in-plant testing before the Army bought off on them. Not only was I 10 minutes from my dad's house, but was only 1 1/2 hours from my mom's house which is 5 minutes from the Florida beaches. Was a good time all the way around. The second best was probably the 2-week TDY trip to assist DARPA in some testing done in Oklahoma back in 1994.
