US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin will meet his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh next week in India and discuss ways to operationalise the major defence partnership that the two countries have, according to a top Pentagon official.

Lloyd Auston came from Raytheon. Unqualified to be Secretary of defense. He is giving tax payer dollars away. I was in 2/57 ADA in Ansbach Germany as a CW3. Worst job I ever had. When I called my assignment officer I told him my next assignment should be any post without the name Fort In It. The only reason we should align with India is because of nuclear threat from Pakistan

Define operationalize.... they are already part of the Quad, they also participate in every major Multinational naval exercise in the USINDOPACOM AOR, not to mention their JRTC Rotations. If anything, we need to lessen our partnership with India and expand with Nepal, Thailand, Singapore since we spend a majority of our indopac budget on India just for them to buy Russian equipment....
