SPC Margaret Higgins - I was from a rural location. I was extremely introverted, read voraciously, and stayed in the outdoors. I hiked probably close to 20-30 miles a week in the woods behind my house.

I was a bored WVian. The recruiter did me a favor. I wouldn't trade my childhood for a million dollars but wouldn't go back home to live for a million either. Been too far gone for too long...

As a Military Dependent I knew I would serve my country eventually. I choose college but never lost the desire to serve. Eventually, I left college and joined our Military.
