What will be my date of rank once I'm slotted into a NG 05 billet? Will it be backdated to the board results or when I'm put into the billet?

I am an FA Major in the National Guard. I just got selected on this year’s LTC board. Once I am slotted into an 05 billet, how long before I can get promoted? Is the date of rank when the board results are posted or when the paperwork goes through. Meaning, if for instance I get put in an 05 job in March of 2022, is my promotion back dated to when the board results are released or when I am put into that 05 billet?

It should be less than a month after new slot. I received orders for my silver leaf that were dated two days before my transfer day

If I recall correctly, your DOR is the date on your order, unless otherwise specified.

Billet. All that really matters is the date on your promotion orders.
