Hoo boy. Hard to imagine why you'd want to do that to her, lol. But if it's within the bounds of your relationship, who are we to judge? She WILL become an object of....attention. For everyone.

SGT Richard Souza Save the glitter bomb for your wife when she is on leave. You do not want to make your wife stick out in basic training. The Drill Instructors would have a good time at your wife's expense. Why would you want to do this in the first place?

SGT Richard Souza - Well, if you want to make your wife suffer, this will do the trick.

If you want "different" without the added massaging from the DI side, consider one of those cards that has a flying butterfly that pops out and will go all over the barracks while the card is playing an absurd piece of music.

I vividly recall while at Camp Elliott rifle range a plt mbr received a package of cookies from his mother. The DI made him crush them to powder, mix them with water and consume the whole mess until he puked. Probably could not get away with such in this day and age, but it illustrates how such care packages were and possibly are regarded by staff. It did serve as a lesson to the rest of us who wrote home telling parents to not send anything in the mail. And I recall it to this very day.

SGT Richard Souza - I feel like I've seen something similar to this before. If it is all fun and games and she has a sense of humor go for it!

Not so concerned about what will happen to your wife as I am what will happen to you.

As I'm not personally resigned to maturity, I can appreciate a joke; as a guy who is married, I can appreciate the joy in knowing my wife will not be plotting my murder as I sleep even more. See, no matter what happens to her, one day she will return home--and has recently been trained in the effective use of firearms...just sayin'--and the fallout will not be pretty.

Let this one go dude.
