I think one of the things that will be said is how much higher the quality of posts, comments and discussions within posts is far superior to other social network sites. I am almost never on FB anymore except to get caught up with Family and get on Linkedin a little more as I belong to many groups with great info. RallyPoint is definitely my "Go To"

They will say you paid $10 a ton for carbon tax? Boy that's a great deal compared to the $200 a ton carbon tax that inspired by President Clinton seeing Canada put it in law in 2017 and she did it in 2020. Don't you wish you could have foreseen 20 years of zero growth?

Burroughs They will say RP Veterans are/were human with their own thoughts...opinions who shared their views honestly...sometimes getting a little crude, but overall a GREAT site for Vet's to get together for daily worldly and personal discussions. That RP was/is a great place for Vets to gather and share information especially regarding Vets with PTSD and other medical issues....and all things MILITARY.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs a point of comparison could be:
1. The War of Worlds radio broadcast
2. Memories of the JFK assassination
3. Memories of the Berlin Wall being dismantled
Much was written about those occurrences.
I would expect our discussions about historical event, scientific achievements and hypotheses, and most relevant descriptions and discussions about what serving in the military, training, uniforms, customs and courtesies, etc. have been from the Vietnam War through the present will be of most interest 50 to 100 years from now.

Most likely the content will be searchable and downloadable directly into their brain -- not a good idea for some responses. Also, as I am seeing more and more civilian members in different roles on RP, the content could change to be more responsive to those groups as opposed to veterans.

Well, barring some miracle, I will probably be dead by then... With the way things are headed, I'll probably be glad I am dead by then! But as to the question... change is a geometric progression, so I doubt anyone will understand or care what our issues were these days, ... can't change the past so why worry about it?

Infantry can do anyone else's job, but you cannot do ours. Infantry and SPECOPS should be at the head of the line. Infantry is the king of battle....but the Kings of battle are the gun bunnies. And we have to be told you're a "POG" least 50x's in a three word sentence. They'll look at us and swear we're the dumbest things ever validating why ET called home, and never answers our calls to him.

I would like to think they realized that we were talking about issues or addressing questions that pertain to us at this moment in time. I would like to think they would know that we are not one dementional and come from all walks of life with varying degrees of issues and concerns for our fellow brother and/or sister in arms. I would like to think they thought of us as being a community that cares for one another, that is there for one another and despite all obstacles continue to support one another. If you are reading this 50 years from today. Hello, I'm a PROUD U.S. Veteran and pray you have continued the tradition of being your brother/sister's keeper. The economy is bad enough now.In 2050 I see our military growing much larger Nessa going to Mars And hopefully there will be a cure for canser.

If you look the great depression,when it was over there with jobs everywhere because back then WAR made our enconmey money.We been in Iraq over 13 years and unfortunately the stock markets have been low and economy is not making much money.

I'm going to have to go with 1stLt Cyle Schultz on this one, it seems a lot of the responses have been heavy on increasing our "internet clout" so I imagine if RP dropped the ranking system you would see the post count drop precipitously overall.
