As with anything else, the more of it there is the less it is worth. Everyone will be a millionaire but a loaf of bread will cost $4,000....Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 25 at 2020 10:57 AM2020-09-25T10:57:19-04:002020-09-25T10:57:19-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6344006

If they don’t print more money your dollar will be worthless. The average life expectancy of a dollar bill is something like 6 months to a year.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 25 at 2020 11:10 AM2020-09-25T11:10:14-04:002020-09-25T11:10:14-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member6344854

Are we talking about the literal printing of money? Or issuing Treasury Debt? It's all about the USA's relative economic strength against other currencies. Even in a degrading world economy who's debt are you going to buy if you are an international investor? Europe, Japan, Russia, China, USA?

Ideally............ a currency will only be increased in circulation hand in hand with the growth of an economy to keep inflation in check.

The Free Market system of the USA permits it to continue to prevail against the logic of our debt consumption. There's no where else to go with your surplus funds in the international market. If China ever becomes a transparent and un-corrupt economy the USA will be in very serious trouble.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 25 at 2020 3:52 PM2020-09-25T15:52:10-04:002020-09-25T15:52:10-04:002020-09-25T10:42:28-04:00
