Begin the disengagement with the Saudis and realize that they nor the Qataris or Kuwaitis are our friends and allies. For sake of time, to lastly support the KDP, PUK, Gorran, and other Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government Parties as well as the YPG/YPJ of the Kurds in Syria and support them in their hopes for an independent and at minimum fully autonomous homeland in those countries to include the Christian areas of Ninevah province and al-Hasakeh and al-Qamishili in Syria with their very large Christian communities who have suffered terribly at the hands of IS, formerly ISIS, formerly Islamic State Iraq, former Al Qaeda Iraq and Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia. While only the name changes the same brutal, criminal murderers with their disdain for the laws of land warfare and Geneva and Hague conventions, who rape, pillage, behead civilians, kidnap children, rape women and girls as young as 8, and destroy archaeological and historical treasures which belong to all of mankind. Our country must stop half-way commiting itself to war. Our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines are fighting their hardest and giving their lives, our politicians and President owe them nothing short of overwhelming, unmistakable, and utterly decisive prosecution finally of this long open wound that has taken so many of our countries best and left this generation too wondering like the one in Vietnam if all their friend's lives and the sacrifices, scars, and troubles they carry for a lifetime have been all in vain. That has been too hard to swallow and we must, and I pray, remember how our country did and still can fight as happened from 1941-45. Their is no way getting around civilian casualties, especially because these cowards wearing civilian garb (except in their propaganda films while acting tough and murdering blinfolded men with bound hands and feet in captured US gear while the harmonious voices of one of their Al-Qaeda boy bands sings away in the background) and use civilian vehicles in all but the large scale offensives. For amongst other violations of the laws of war schools continuously prove to be a favorite hiding place for their weapons depots. In the most densely populated areas lay the command centers, communication bunkers, bomb factories, chemical weapon labs, and leaders' quarters. The loss of innocent civilian lives is something they will have to answer to God for, and should we continue to beat around the bush Mosul has proven clearly that just as many if not more innocents will die as a result of cautious incremental action as will from the course I spelled out above. The order is very similar to what Obama ordered in 2011, so it is nothing new. However something like this should have had prior annoucement. This is not a business and an order like this cannot be treated as a company memorandum to be followed by all employees. This fumble is something he can overcome as he gains experience in the demands of being President. What he should have done (and Reagan understood) is that he must constantly communicate his action before, during, and after he does something. He knows the media is his enemy (for now). The Democrat Party wants to see him fail and is trying its best to make that happen. By appealing to the people, he lets them know that, 1) He is keeping his campaign promises 2) making them aware of what changes are occurring and assuring them, and 3) disarming his opponents or at least making it harder to oppose him. If something is not working, don't be afraid to change it and find another solution. The people will be forgiving if he shows adaptability. His enemies will not be forgiving if he succeeds. They will be merciless if he fails.
Trump is no Reagan. Trump does not have the “gift of gab,” like the Gipper. Trump is not a finesse fighter but more of a brawler. He celebrates his own victories. Right now, he does not need to campaign to regenerate momentum. He already has it. This nation wants to see ACTION. We are tired of words.
As I said before in my previous post, he must keep his campaign promises and not get sucked into petty squabbles. The biggest support Reagan got was when the economy started to turn around and we saw the pride in our military restored. This took away most of the argument of his critics.
None of what I have said is about getting revenge on the previous administration. If his policies succeed in turning around this nation, he will have silenced their opposition. The last years of Reagan's terms were much easier than his first two years. Some of you here may support BHO and feel that he was a good president. I disagree. Our nation has been at war continuously since 2001-the longest period of war we have ever been in. Yet, our military was not fully prepared to face the tasks required of it. All of you have seen this first hand. Our forces now must face the possibility of war with North Korea and we cannot rule out the possibility of China, or Russia, or both joining against us. This nation is now at its' weakest and yet the dangers to this country have increased.
We can point fingers at previous administrations (or the current one) and say that HE was the cause of it. NUMBERS and to that and more specific is DEBT. President Obama by all economic standards was one of the worst managers of our economy. This is not a feeling driven statement... is a fact. He enter his first term with a debt of 10 trillion and in 8 years he literally almost doubled it, exiting at 19.4 trillion. On top of that he didn't got handed a war which would make an exemption to the rule as historically, wars require lots and lots of spending, for example President Bush HAD to spent money... no ifs and no buts.
If Trump remains at the same debt he is already winning because by taking into account inflation he would actually be saving us money or reducing the debt.
If Trump was to reduce debt that would be a clear confirmation that by comparison he is a better manager of the economy and that would be undisputable and hard for another candidate of the same party or the opposition to beat in an election.
Everything thing else can be modify by perception but the country's debt cannot. After six months for President Trump it seems he will no go down favorably in history. President Obama is a done deal. On Foreign Affairs he will get low marks for dealing with China. High marks for Japan and probably credited well for his indifference towards NKorea. Europe he will get solid marks and credit for not getting the US involved in the terrorists problems that european countries have had the past five years. In the Middle East he clearly failed, got the US involved in Syria, brought the Russians in and was ineffective in Georgia, Ukraine sand Turkey. He left a bigger mess in the Middle east the he inherited from Bush (43). Domestic issues it will be Obamacare which history will give him an A+ and would elevate an otherwise C+ admiration to a solid B. Trumps early impressions are all negative The bums rush treatment he just got at the G-20 is down right embarrassing to all Americans. Advice to President Trump, avoid there "G" meetings in the future. On NKorea Trump will do nothing two reasons he know they are bluffing and he is basically a coward. China, as expressed before Xi need some minor events such as the rowing of an aircraft or an attack on a ship but no sinking. People will die and planes lost on both side but is Xi intense to be the Supreme ruler of China and with out any military experience he will have to pull the trigger a few time during Trump administration(s) Trumps present Military advisors Mattis, Kelly and McMaster along with the surprise gem go the Cabinet Dec. of State Tollerson are cool heads and know the game, if Trump allows the to deal with foreign policy he will get out of the Presidency. In regards to his popularity. If one has watch the poll since Trump took office the favorable polls after a wild down side have recover to a stud 41-48% approval rating and the approval come from the states that elected him so the Electrical Votes are still on his side. Disapproval has averaged between 45-51% but all in the wrong places. What this is shown is that larger state when you consider populations only are underrepresented in Congress. This is a Constitutional problem that Congress will with in this century have to deal with. Currently California is acting like it is a country and other states are interesting in joining including Texas. Meanwhile Congress wast's to make silencers on guns legal in all stares along with concealed carry. For JFK it was the Cuban Missile Crisis. For years the truth about this staged event that elevated JFK into the ranks of the immortals. The Kennedy lobby has made historians forget about Verona, and the RB 47's the President could get pictures only a few hours old of the Russian missile launch sites. The Russian didn't solid fuel ICBM, the still don't and the stored their missiles in fueled and would take on the best of time at least 12 hours to fuel the missiles. The biggest problem the Russian had was they had to launch their missiles hot, the had no way to arm a nuclear weapon in flight on a missile. The missile launch area then was just east of Moscow and the armed missile had to travel over thousands of misled of the Soviet Union. In 1962 the percentage of failures on Russian missiles was about 20-25%.The Russians most likely would be bombing themselves before the US. During this event and American historian have so far failed to give Khrushchev his due credit as the adult during this manufactured crisis. Of course the Kennedy lobbyist have been very successful in keeping any scholarly research into this issue. Most of the material in this including the Verona and RB 47 pictures are still classified. Another area he excels at is indictments......his picks to run his campaign and our government have accumulated many more indictments and resignations at this stage of his presidency than any of his predecessors. Well done, Mr. Trump......well done.
