You will have to dedicate a lot of time to studying for the first 2 months or so. The schoolhouse is broke up into 12 courses that last 17 days each. The first 2 courses are the hardest for some people. Its requires a lot of studying but is also repetitive when you get into the higher courses. Its an amazing program that will directly translate to the civilian side with ease. There are so many companies that actively seek military BMETS because of the way the schoolhouse teaches. On National Guard side, during drills you will not exactly be doing a 68A job just because you will not be in a hospital everyday. If you want a really good civilian job without the college work and degree, it is a great choice. <br />Now because you are going to reclass, you are going to be what they call prior service and not have to stay in the barracks or anything like that. You will be able to live on/off post with your family and be able to go home after final formation everyday. The only thing is that you’ll have to go to PT (obviously) in the morning about 3 times a week. Other then that, because you are prior service, you are going to be just fine!
